‘제12회 Agritec Africa 2026’ 참가…TMF 시장 가능성 확인

ChungWoon Biotech participated in the 12th Agritec Africa 2026, held from June 17 to 19, 2026, at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, Kenya.

Agritec Africa is an agricultural technology exhibition and conference organized by Radeecal Communications, an international exhibition organizer. Held under the theme “Improving Farmers’ Income Through Innovation and Technology,” this year’s event brought together approximately 150 companies from around 25 countries, including China, Italy, India, and South Korea.

The exhibition highlighted agricultural machinery, equipment, inputs, dairy and livestock technologies, and modern farming solutions. KOTRA also participated as an exhibiting organization, showcasing South Korea’s agricultural technologies and innovative farming solutions.

At the exhibition, ChungWoon Biotech focused on introducing the concept and key features of TMF (Total Mixed Fermentation), as well as its potential applications in Kenya’s dairy and beef cattle industries.

Only two participating companies, including ChungWoon Biotech, specialized in animal feed. As fermented feed technology remains relatively unfamiliar in Kenya, the ChungWoon Biotech booth attracted considerable attention from visitors.

At times, more than ten visitors gathered at the booth simultaneously. Product inquiries and consultations were so active that even the four staff members assigned to the booth were unable to attend to every visitor immediately.

During the exhibition, ChungWoon Biotech met with key stakeholders in the dairy and beef cattle sectors, including board members of one of Africa’s largest dairy cooperatives, the CEO of the Feedlot Association of Kenya, and a prominent Kenyan beef cattle farming advisor.

Through these consultations, the company gained valuable insights into the feed requirements and distribution methods needed in Kenya’s livestock sector, as well as the importance of farmer training and field trials. The participants also exchanged views on the potential of TMF technology to improve feed efficiency and livestock productivity.

Many farmers and cooperative representatives expressed interest in purchasing and supplying TMF products, as well as in regional distribution and potential partnerships. Based on the contacts established at the exhibition, Fermfeed Bio is providing information on product purchasing procedures and conducting follow-up discussions tailored to the specific interests of farms and cooperatives.

The exhibition provided a valuable opportunity to confirm the potential of TMF technology and products in the Kenyan market and establish a foundation for future sales expansion and partnership development.

ChungWoon Biotech plans to continue its follow-up consultations with local farms and cooperatives while linking product supply with field trials to expand fermented feed solutions suited to Kenya’s livestock farming environment.
